The Truth about Turkish airlines

The few years prior to World War II saw the beginning of operations for Turkish Airlines, more specifically in May of 1933. With only four aircraft capable of taking 23 passengers in total, they had a humble start. It took them until 1945 to purchase more planes. They recently received one of the twelve Boeing 777-300ER airplanes they ordered, which is a highly advanced long-haul aircraft. Profits and expanded routes have been steadily increasing each year for at least the past five years. It certainly seems that Turkish Airlines has learned many lessons since their early days of flying less than twenty five passengers at a time.

Valencia, Spain is the new addition to Turkish Airlines' list of destination planned for the end of March of this year, with four flights scheduled per week. The following month, namely April, will see the additional of another route, between Malaga and Istanbul. There will be three flights per week on this route. All of that will be added to the existing services for Barcelona and Madrid. This merely the beginning of what will likely be an active year for Turkish Airlines. The rest of 2011 will see additional new routes in quite a few other countries. Destinations such as Paris, Lyon, Toulouse and Nice in France are also on the list, planned for the summer of 2011. Thus, the company will be flying to 175 international destinations and the year is still at the beginning. Finalizing negotiations in October, 2010, Manchester Unites, the English soccer team, and Turkish Airlines signed a contract spanning three years. Turkish Airlines and Manchester United will team up to create a high-tech TV ad that will show the new business class concept the airline has developed. Both organizations consider this to be an exciting period for a wide range of reasons. The new advertisements will show the team's best players travelling and enjoying the airline's business class section.
Upgrading to better tickets as often as possible is what the goal of the Turkish Airlines rewards program is. Their customer and passengers stand to gain the most benefits from this upgrade. 038; Smiles members can upgrade their tickets from Economy, Business or Comfort Classes. Depending on their tickets, customers can switch to First Class, Business Class and Comfort Class. Of course each upgrade will include accruing applicable miles for the program

There have been many benefits derived for Turkish Airlines as a result of them diversifying their marketing efforts.
However, this is a standard business practice for most businesses. But still, available funds are not always spent so wisely by any business, yet Turkish Airlines recognizes the wisdom of reinvesting in their business. In this case, it's not just the airline that has increased in strength and branding, but passengers also get to enjoy the benefits too.
